It is an everyday street scene from the Mildenhall collection. The catalogue dates the photograph between 1921 and 1935; it does not pin it to a single year.

Look past the cars and there is plenty to notice in the windows, the signs and the people on the footpath. These ordinary details are often what make an old photograph worth lingering over.
